First Teaser For The Peacemaker HBO Max Spin-Off Series Revealed

John Cena received a spin-off for the Peacemaker character even before The Suicide Squad even finished filming. Warner executives loved his performance so much that he received an HBO Max series. Now fans are getting their first look at this upcoming show.

WarnerMedia released their first teaser for The Peacemaker series. John Cena plays the titular crime fighter, an anti-hero that is also described as an A-hole by people who know him best.

James Gunn was behind this spin-off series, much like The Suicide Squad film. Cena was happy to reprise the Peacemaker role since Gunn was attached to the series. Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, and Chukwudi Iwuji also star in the HBO Max show.

The new show premieres on HBO Max in January, 2022. You can check out the teaser below.
