Fans of the “Wendy Williams Show” will remember that the show’s host, Williams, has been dealing with health issues for a while. While the details of her health issues are not available yet, one thing has been confirmed. The show has been delayed again.

It had been announced earlier that the show’s premiere would be pushed to the 4th of October. However, the show’s official Instagram account has now stated that the show will be further postponed to the 18th of October.

The post did not state whether Williams herself would return or not, leaving some fans to wonder if guest hosts would fill in for her. However, a rep has since clarified that Williams will return on the 18th instead of the 4th.

Wendy will not be returning with new shows on Oct. 4. She has been and continues to be under a doctor’s care and is still not ready to return to work.

The post also addressed what fans had been concerned about the most. Luckily, Williams is no longer dealing with her breakthrough COVID case, as she has tested negative. However, “she’s still dealing with some ongoing medical issues.”
