Wendy Williams is making more headlines, and it’s not for the best reason. It was recently reported that the talk show host tested positive for COVID-19 and she had to postpone the start of her show. Now she is hospitalized after voluntarily admitting herself for psychiatric treatment.

TMZ reports that Williams admitted herself into a New York City hospital on Thursday for a psych evaluation. Sources say she struggles with mental health and it has been this way for “some time.”

It said to not be “a big shock” that Williams admitted herself. She is asymptomatic for COVID, but that might still complicate things since she is still positive for the virus.

It’s uncertain when she’ll be released, but we’re told her mental health continues to improve each day. And, our sources say, her COVID is still in check with no real symptoms.

The 13th season of her popular daytime talk show was set to debut on September 20th, but they pushed that back to October 4th. Hopefully, she will be much better and have some new mental clarity when that time comes to resume her show.
