Monica Lewinsky is currently an activist and was also a White House intern back in the mid-90s. She made headlines after then-President Bill Clinton admitted to having an affair with her while she worked at the White House in 1995–1996.

While speaking to CNN’s David Axelrod, Monica Lewinsky reveals that she contemplated suicide during the scandal over her affair with Bill Clinton as she couldn’t see a way out.

Lewinsky stated that ended her life seemed to be a good solution to her during that time. In fact, she even asked the lawyers working for Ken Starr, who were leading the investigation, what would happen if she had passed away.

Lewis stated that it can’t be excused that there was no protocol back then to help someone in her situation. Thankfully, a psychiatrist helped save her life from the looks of it.

”And so I was, you know, pretty, pretty lucky.”

We are glad to see Monica Lewinsky alive and well and doing good things for herself, as she no longer holds any animosity towards Bill Clinton for the scandal.
