American actress Mayim Bialik is probably best known for portraying Amy on The “Big Bang Theory” and hosting “Jeopardy!” The actress recently appeared on “The Late Late Show.”

During her chat with James Corden, the actress shared the “terrible story” of how her friendship with fellow actor Neil Patrick Harris ended back in the 90s.

Bialik stated that she was attending a 1997 production of “Rent,” in which NPH was playing Mark Cohen. Apparently, the rift arose out of Bialik’s refusal to applaud her friend.

I mean, this was a long time ago … But when your friend is in the play and then everybody is clapping at the end, and you say to your boyfriend next to you, ‘I don’t want to stand for this’ …

Bialik shared that NPH even asked her why she refused to stand up, however the actress did not have a good answer. She also described the incident as terrible.

Bialik stated that the two did not speak for a long time after the incident. Fortunately, the two seem to have moved on. NPH has forgiven Bialik and even tried to smooth things over.
