The Bella Twins are no longer full-time WWE Superstars, but they made a lot of noise with Twin Magic back in the day. It turns out that Nikki Bella wasn’t a huge fan of how WWE portrayed them at first.

While speaking to Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Nikki said that she felt like her singles run in WWE was her most natural stint with the company. She didn’t really like the twin act that WWE set them up with at first.

“I felt like when Brie and I first debuted, because (back then), there was no social media so we tricked the world that there was just one girl, so when we both appeared, that’s when I felt at home. Then when I became ‘Fearless Nikki’, that’s when I was really like ‘this is who I was meant to be, this is my superhero cape, this is who I am’.

“There were a lot of people that came into my life at that time that really helped my find that, and I just knew that was right. All the twin stuff before never felt right to me, I felt like ‘ugh this is corny’.”

Nikki and Brie Bella continue teasing a return to the ring, whenever that might happen. Nikki is working hard to improve her neck situation, but that doesn’t mean she will get that additional run she pines after. That being said, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles seem like they belong around the Bella Twins’ waists.
