Kanye West is a mad scientist when it comes to being a businessman, as the rapper has built his own empire from scratch. However, he falls far behind when it comes to releasing music on time. A recent rumor regarding his upcoming ‘Donda’ album was also blamed on hackers.

Kanye West previously held listening parties for his long-delayed album Donda. However, the album didn’t actually arrive on July 23rd and that certainly did not sit well with fans.

The listening party shattered Apple streaming records as well. His first listening party was in Las Vegas with a second in Atlanta, where he remained in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium to finish the album. During the second listening party, Kanye West didn’t drop his ‘Donda’ album, which infuriated fans, but the party went on to shatter his own Apple Music streaming record anyway.

Now the third ‘Donda’ listening party is currently underway as West will now be moving to Soldier Field in Chicago. According to Bu Thiam, a music industry executive who is also Kanye West’s manager, West will finally drop his ‘Donda’ album after next week’s event.

Bu Thiam stated that Kanye West would ‘absolutely’ release the album after the third listening party. From the looks of it, the album now has a new release date of August 27th but it is also likely that fans will not necessarily hold their breath as the album has been delayed multiple times already. We will have to wait and see if Kanye West finally drops the ‘Donda’ album as fans are getting impatient.
