Cardi B is one of the most outspoken and popular rappers in the Hip Hop world. Her music has reached people all over the globe along with the various messages that go with it. Her tendency to always be outspoken and never afraid to speak her mind has carried her to legendary social media status, to say the least.

Lizzo recently dropped a collab track with Cardi B, titled ‘Rumors,’ which has been a huge hit with fans. The two have a good friendship after working together. During a recent Instagram Live session, Lizzo broke down after hurtful comments from trolls who continued to body shame her after the release of ‘Rumors.’

In a now-deleted tweet, Cardi said: “Rumors is doing great. Stop trying to say the song is flopping to dismiss a woman emotions on bullying or acting like they need sympathy. The song is top 10 on all platforms. Body shaming and callin’ her mammy is mean & racist as f*ck”

Cardi B took to Twitter and put all the body shamers on blast for torturing Lizzo on social media and defended her.

When you stand up for yourself they claim your problematic & sensitive. When you don’t they tear you apart until you crying like this. Whether you skinny, big, plastic, they going to always try to put their insecurities on you.Remember these are nerds looking at the popular table.

We applaud Cardi B for standing up for her friend and do not condone body shaming of any kind whatsoever. We hope people just stop being so hateful towards Lizzo.
