Dana White Says Vince McMahon ‘Couldn’t Have Wrote’ A Better Script After UFC 265

The main event of UFC 265 saw Ciryl Gane square off against Derrick Lewis for the Interim UFC Heavyweight Title.

Ciryl Gane put on the performance of a lifetime as he defeated Derric Lewis via TKO in the third round to win the interim heavyweight title at UFC 265. He is now 10-0 in the UFC and is set to face off against Francis Ngannou.

It is interesting to note that Ciryl Gane and Francis Ngannou are actually former teammates. While speaking at the UFC 265 post-fight press conference, UFC President Dana White revealed that he loved the story of two former sparring partners competing for the UFC Heavyweight Title. White claimed that even WWE Chairman Vince McMahon couldn’t have written a better script.

“It doesn’t get any better than this [Ciryl Gane vs Francis Ngannou]. You couldn’t write it, you couldn’t script it. F*cking Vince [McMahon] couldn’t have wrote a better script for this thing. It’s beautiful.”

We will have to wait and see when Ciryl Gane and Francis Ngannou will clash for the UFC Heavyweight Championship as it will undoubtedly be a big money fight. This was quite a story, to say the least.
