Drake Says ‘Certified Lover Boy’ Is Cooked & Ready To Be Delivered

Drake remains one of the most popular and successful rappers in the Hip-Hop world. He also has a lot of interests outside of making music. For a very long time now fans have been eagerly waiting for his upcoming album ‘Certified Lover Boy’ to drop.

The album was initially slated to release in January of this year but got delayed for a long time as Drake was still recovering from knee surgery. This ultimately cost the rapper several months. Drake previously celebrated owning the top three spots on the Billboard Hot 100 chart after his Scary Hours 2 EP release.

It is also essentially a guarantee that Drake will return to the charts once his ‘Certified Lover Boy’ releases and the rapper made sure to give lots of teases about its release.

It was previously reported that the album was almost complete and now it seems fans will finally get to see the fruits of Drake’s labor soon enough. While speaking to Sound 42, Drake gave a huge update on the album, where he stated that is ‘cooked and ready to be delivered.’

“Album’s cooked. Looking forward to delivering it to you.

“I hope everybody in the world is blessed. I hope everybody has their drinks, everyone’s locked in. Good vibes and good energy for this weekend. And for the rest of you heathens, I wanna tell you, ’cause I know you’re listening, don’t trouble people’s kids, don’t bother people’s soul. Know what I’m sayin’?”

“OVO, we aim for that head. We don’t aim to please. Certified Lover Boy on the way. And that’s for anyone in the way.“

There is no doubt that the release of the album is upon us and Drake will continue to hype its release until the day it finally drops. We will have to see if it will be worth the wait or not.
