WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury is undoubtedly one of the best professional boxers in the world right now. Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder were set to fight on July 24th in their third match together.

However, the status of the match is now up in the air after Tyson Fury tested positive for COVID-19 last week. Many fans were shocked at this announcement, but it seems Wilder’s fiancée thinks something is up.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, Deontay Wilder’s fiancée Telli Swift claimed that Tyson Fury’s COVID-19 diagnosis is merely a way for him to buy time as he isn’t ready to face off against Deontay Wilder.

“You’ve trained so hard, blood, sweat, and tears and then for someone to have COVID and Deontay’s fight with torn biceps, broken fingers, burns on his arms, and he still fought. So, I just feel like with COVID and you have sixteen days until the fight, he should still be able to fight and make it happen.

I don’t think that he’s ready. I think he’s buying time, and I just feel like he feels Deontay is at the best looking-wise.”

In their last two matches together, the first match ended in a draw and the second one saw Widler lose via TKO. We will have to wait and see when the third match in the trilogy will be taking place.
