Conor McGregor broke his leg at the end of the first round of the UFC 264 main event fight against Dustin Poirier. They will meet again for a fourth time, but that will require McGregor to heal up. He has screws and a plate in his leg after a 3.5 hour surgery. In the meantime, Notorious still has a ton of money to count.

According to an update from MMA Salaries, Conor McGregor made $23,011,000 off his UFC 264 loss. That included $18 million in pay-per-view bonuses.

Notorious lost that fight, ending the night on the mat slinging out death threats toward Dustin and Jolie Poirier, but he still made off like a bandit. Conor McGregor’s big loss was followed by an even larger truck full of cash backing into his driveway courtesy of the UFC.

It was thought that McGregor would make off with, at least, $5 million for that big fight. Obviously, the pay-per-view buys spiked that amount in a huge way. He received a tremendous bonus on top of his guaranteed paycheck. That should have been expected since he has such a lucrative deal with the UFC.

Dana White promised that McGregor vs Poirier IV will happen. We have to wonder how much more Notorious will pocket out of that deal.

Let’s get to know each other. Me? Well, I have a master’s degree in Journalism from Marshall University, but I don’t really like to talk about that. I was a stand-up comedian for eight years, but I don’t really like to talk about that either. I write a lot. I once worked for a company that writes blurbs for online gambling games. Those paid $.75 each. So, if you frequent that kind of thing, then you’re welcome for the description for Biker Chicken Slots or Crazy Granny’s Scratchers. I wish I had more to tell, but due to my crippling anxiety and Tourette’s Syndrome, that has become increasingly worse over the years, I tend to keep to myself.
