T-Pain sees how things are changing and he doesn’t like where some things are heading. There will always be people who T-Pain can’t hate on, because real artists are always going to be at work. Some of the newer generation lit a fire under the veteran rapper.

During a Twitch stream, T-Pain took a break from his regularly scheduled programming, and he had a melt down over the kind of music he’s hearing come out of new rappers. The kind of autotune and those beats you can only say belong to T-Pain, he had a lot to say and held little back.

You can read T-Pain’s rant below, and keep in mind that he ramped things up to a full-on scream by the second paragraph.

“You know when your shit sounds like somebody else’s sh*t. You’re making it because you’re in the studio like, ‘What’s the number one record now? We need to make another one of those.’”

“Stop doing that! Stop! You’re not original! Give me some original shi*! Are you seriously telling me that you sat here watch me tell a bitch to eat a dick and you thought that wasn’t original? Are you seriously sitting here telling me ‘eat a dick’ is the bad part of music? Stop!! Just f*cking do something else! God damn it! Do some different music!”

T-Pain has a lot of attention and obviously, some will agree with what he had to say. This is now a big discussion point within fans as they continue the always present war of old vs new.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
