Conor McGregor did not end UFC 264 the way he intended. He was on the mat, threatening to murder Dustin Poirier and his wife Jolie in their sleep, instead of having his hand raised at the end of the fight. Kurt Angle was paying attention.

The Olympic Hero tweeted out to remind us all that he won the Gold Medal at the Olympics with a “broken freakin neck,” but Conor couldn’t finish the fight. He’s still waiting to find out what the big deal is all about.

So…. @TheNotoriousMMA broke his freakin’ ankle this past weekend. Big deal. I break my ankle all of the time. I broke my ankle this morning and I’m jumping around right now!! I even won a gold medal with a broken freakin neck too.

Conor McGregor will get another shot at Dustin Poirier again whenever he is healed and ready to go. That won’t come this year, because Notorious has some healing to do. He also has new hardware in his leg after at 3.5 hour surgery. Kurt Angle still thinks he should have finished the fight.

With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
