Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson remains one of the most popular pro wrestlers to have ever stepped foot inside the squared circle. He was a true icon in WWE and his stock only rose after The Rock made his way to Hollywood, where he is now the highest-paid actor in the industry.
The Rock is also set to star in yet another blockbuster movie as he will be acting alongside Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot in the upcoming action-comedy film Red Notice.
The Rock took to Twitter and officially revealed the release date for the upcoming film, as it is set to drop on November 12th of this year.
“You’re officially on notice @Netflix’s biggest movie ever #REDNOTICE premieres in your living rooms around the globe on NOV 12 FBI’s top profiler. World’s most wanted art thief. And the greatest conman the world has never seen… @GalGadot @VancityReynolds #REDNOTICE “.
The film will see The Rock portraying the role of ‘the FBI’s top profiler’ while Gal Gadot will play the world’s greatest art thief and Ryan Reynolds will play the world’s greatest con artist.
The budget for the film is said to be somewhere between $160 million to $200 million in total, making it Netflix’s most expensive production till date. We will have to see if it will live up to the hype or not.
