The Olympic Games will soon be upon us, but not all fans are happy about the selections for the 2021 event. You can’t make everyone happy, but Kevin Durant had to shut down one fan for making a very bold statement.

The U.S Olympic team will be looking for their 16th gold medal in basketball during this year’s games. Kevin Durant will be grinding for his third medal overall. Some big names like LeBron James opted out of the games, but others weren’t asked.

One fan fired off on Twitter to complain abut Grizzlies star Dillon Brooks not being on Team USA. This is when KD had to reply and give this fan a little bit of background about Brooks that this fan might be missing.

U mean the Canadian Dillon Brooks?

Yes, Dillon Brooks is Canadian, so he wouldn’t be playing for Team USA in the first place. Kevin Durant doesn’t fire off many sarcastic tweets like this, but he is obviously paying attention to how fans are talking about Team USA’s activities.
