Jon Jones Confident Francis Ngannou Won’t Knock Him Out

Jon Jones is one of the most popular fighters in the history of the UFC. For the past few months, Jones had made it his life’s mission to go after Francis Ngannou’s UFC Heavyweight Championship.

To make it happen Jon Jones had been working very hard to make it to the Heavyweight division in the UFC. The journey has certainly been a very difficult one for him.

Jones had revealed in the past that he felt undervalued and simply wanted to be paid better. Unfortunately for Jones, it was previously stated that he will not be facing Ngannou anytime soon as Ngannou will be facing Derrick Lewis this Summer.

Dana White officially confirmed that Jon Jones will not be Francis Ngannou’s next opponent. Despite this, Jon Jones has not lost hope. A fan recently took to Twitter and stated that he would not willingly take punches from Francis Ngannou.

Jon Jones saw the fan’s reply and decided to reply to it as he mentioned the names of his former opponents such as Dominic Reyes and others in order to make a point that he won’t be knocked out by Francis Ngannou.

Of course you don’t willingly take punches from anyone. Think about how many people rampage knocked out before facing me, Dominic Reyes knocked out everyone before me, Gus was a knock out machine, none of them could do it. DC, OSP you name them. Same story

Jon Jones certainly has a lot of endurance and a strong chin, which are one of the biggest reasons why he overcame his past opponents. We will have to see if Jones and Francis Ngannou finally square off against each other eventually.
