The long-standing rivalry between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier remains one of the most highly discussed topics in the MMA world. The Notorious One isn’t one to back down from a fight and also to spare any expenses when it comes to talking trash to his opponents.
Notorious is always open to trash talking his opponents but it seems in the past couple of years, he has not been able to back up what he’s been saying, as evident from his loss against Dustin Poirier earlier in the year.
Conor McGregor loves to get inside the head of his opponents prior to a big fight and he recently mocked Dustin Poirier as well. McGregor took to Twitter and sent a touching yet hilarious message to his fiancée and kids about busting up Dustin Porier.
“I’ll be back in a few weeks my sweetheart. Just going to bust a man up. Tell the kids daddy loves them.”
McGregor is certainly focused on his upcoming fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 on July 11th in their third fight together. Both of them currently have a win over the other, so we will have to see who will become the definite winner and have bragging rights. McGregor has a lot riding on the fight so he can’t afford to lose it no matter what.
