Paul Walker tragically passed away in 2013, but his memory has lived on through his many roles, including his amazing contributions to the Fast Franchise. Now one of his favorite cars is up for auction.

The 1994 Toyota Supra, one that Walker drove in two Fast films, just went up for auction. It pulled down a hefty price of $550,000. Known as the 10-second car, this vehicle didn’t last long on the auction block either.

Walker was in the middle of filming Furious 7 at the time of his passing. He did not complete his scenes in the film, but they carried on with production. The film had portions re-written and Walker’s brothers Caleb and Cody were used as stand-ins for him while they got scenes in that Walker couldn’t shoot.

‘See You Again’ by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth was released as a tribute to Paul Walker. It was featured in Furious 7 and also topped the charts. Obviously, Paul Walker’s memory is still strong judging by the value of that Supra.

Fast 9 drops on Friday in the USA. China and other countries have already seen the movie released in theaters. Thanks to John Cena, a man who Vin Diesel said was sent by Walker to replace him, China might have been a bit upset at the Fast 9 film after the 16x World Champion accidentally referred to Taiwan as a country.

What’s your favorite car in the Fast films? Sound off in the comments!

Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
