Floyd Mayweather finally duked it out with Logan Paul in an exhibition boxing match on June 6 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Mayweather was the odds-on favorite heading into the match and many fans thought it was going to be a one-sided slaughter.

In the end, that is definitely what happened as s both Paul and Mayweather went the distance in the match, which came as a shock to many. Many fans felt cheated out of their money as Mayweather didn’t win the match via a knockout.

A short clip of the match recently made rounds, which saw Mayweather seemingly knocking out Logan Paul and then holding up Paul right after that. Many fans went after Logan Paul for this clip.

Now it seems Logan Paul has finally responded to the viral claim as he took to his Instagram stories and shot down the claims, blasting those who tried to discredit what happened in the match.

”Yo, I’m seeing this narrative going around that there’s one part in the fight where Floyd punched me and I kind of like, leaned on him a little bit. And it kind of looks like I kind of went limp. And people are trying to spin it and say that he knocked me out, and caught me, and kept me up to keep the fight going to the eighth round. Shut the f**k up. Like, just shut the f**k up.”

“Like, stop trying to discredit what happened last night. Make no mistake, he got a lot of good punches in. There’s a couple photos. I got f**ked up a couple of shots. I didn’t know my face could like, make that shape. But never rocked, never blacked out, never obviously got knocked out. He didn’t hold me up. He tried to take me out, and he couldn’t. It was great.”

We will have to see what is next in store for Logan Paul next now that he survived Floyd Mayweather. Perhaps he will actually end up being the decisive winner in his next fight.
