Jamie Foxx played Willie Beaman in the classic football movie Any Given Sunday. It turns out that he hasn’t lost any skills despite it being decades since he played the famous fictional QB.

The 1999 Oliver Stone film remains one of the best gridiron tales ever put on the silver screen. Many fans would love to see a sequel and Jamie Foxx seems ready to put those pads back on.

He captioned this video with: “Bombs away! #williebeamen” while heaving the pigskin down a basketball court. Obviously, he was on the wrong kind of playing field on a b-ball court, but he could still chuck that football.

You can check out the video below. Naturally, fans clamored to congratulate Jamie Foxx on still having plenty of football skills. He could probably still play Willie Beaman, but that Oliver Stone helmed character would be hard to follow up in another installment after the epic story that they told over 20 years ago.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
