Cardi B is a popular person and one autograph seeker caught a beatdown, but she’s not admitting to any part of what went down.

According to documents from TMZ, Cardi B wants Giovanni Arnold’s lawsuit thrown out. Cardi claims that Arnold can be heard on video yelling at her and Offset at the 2018 Met Gala after-party. He was very aggressive at getting an autograph, but he was unsuccessful.

Cardi B also pointed out how Arnold said: “Please beat me up, I’ll take all of your money.” That was a bit incriminating and does point toward the whole lawsuit being part of a cash-in scheme.

It is also alleged in the lawsuit that Arnold was roughed-up by Cardi B’s three beefy security guards. Cardi says that is a fabrication of events. She claims that the people who beat Arnold up were not under her employ.

Cardi B’s story is that she didn’t tell those people to beat Arnold up. They did it on their own without any provocation from the famous rapper.

Arnold was apparently afraid that Cardi was going to slap him, but she’s laughing that off. Cardi B was 7 months pregnant at the time, so she wasn’t about hand-to-hand combat. Cardi B feels that this is a quick cash-in and the case needs to be tossed.

What’s your take on the situation? Should this lawsuit get thrown out? Sound off in the comments!
