Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is one of the all-time greats in the world of professional basketball. James suffered a very nasty injury to his right ankle in the Lakers’ game against the Atlanta Hawks back in March and despite making a return, James simply hasn’t been the same since the injury.

James has also become a controversial figure and received a lot of negative attention for a variety of reasons. James was recently called out for overacting during the Lakers game against the Golden State Warriors.

On top of that LeBron James is now considered as the biggest whiner in NBA right now. As many NBA fans know, a player’s legacy in the NBA is a very important thing. During the Lakers match against the Warriors, a lot of hype was build towards LeBron James facing off against Steph Curry.

While speaking on ESPN’s flagship show ‘First Take’, ESPN analyst Max Kellerman talked about LeBron James being one of the biggest stains on Steph Curry’s legacy, adding that James really hurt Curry’s legacy in the NBA.

”Well, LeBron has hurt Steph’s legacy. The first time they link up in the playoffs…it was so obvious that LeBron was the best player in the series. He didn’t have Kyrie [Irving], or Kevin Love. [Matthew] Dellavdova was his second-best player and they still took him six games.

Who won Finals MVP? LeBron should have gotten it but they didn’t want to give it to the guy on the losing team, so, they gave it to [Andre] Igudola because he guarded LeBron. Steph didn’t win Finals MVP because it was so obvious LeBron was better than him and everybody else on the floor.”

The Los Angeles Lakers are now to set square off against the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. We will have to see if the Lakers will manage to win the game with James’ help.
