UFC President Dana White is certainly a businessman at the end of the day and will do what is best for his company. That includes working a crossover MMA event, which was hinted at by a social media post last month.

In the photo, Dana White could be seen with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and the current president of Rizin Fighting Federation, Nobuyuki Sakakibara. The photo certainly got a lot of people talking and excited at what is to come.

While speaking to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, Dana White has addressed the meeting with Mayweather and Sakakibara. Dana White was first asked how the meeting even happened.

“Well, Floyd hit me up and asked me to swing by his house on my way home. He lives like one neighborhoood over from me. I went over there and Sakakibara was there, and you know, Floyd had a deal going on. I wouldn’t say that he was looking for me… I don’t know. Listen, I shouldn’t even get into this, you know? Floyd asked me to come by, yeah

Okamoto asked if Mayweather called White over so that they could work together on something that Mayweather is working on. White would then mention that he and Mayweather will definitely be working together on something.

“Yeah, he and I are going to end up doing something eventually. I don’t know what, but, I didn’t see this whole silliness going on right now. I didn’t see that coming. When he gets through this thing [we’ll probably do something together].”

The silliness referred by White will be Mayweather’s upcoming fight against Logan Paul  on June 6 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. We will have to wait and see what Dana White and Floyd Mayweather will work on together after the fight.
