T-Pain is undoubtedly one of the most well-known rappers in the Hip-Hop world. While the rapper is proficient in many things, it seems social media isn’t one of them.

The rapper recently took to Instagram and uploaded a video of him scrolling through all the messages from celebrities that he has ignored over the years. The rapper stated that he wasn’t aware a separate folder existed on Instagram.

Among the various celebrities he ignored included the likes of Viola Davis, YBN Nahmir, Diplo, Fergie, NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns, Keri Hilson, pornstar Nina Kayy, Princess Pia Mia and soccer player Daniel Sturridge, who had all reached out to him but to no avail.

“I swear!! I’m just now seeing all these messages and mentions TODAY!!!! How do I super apologize? Press conference? Town hall meeting? I’m dumb.”

T-Pain also spoke to Billboard in March, where he talked about many people doubting him over his use of Auto-Tune. It ended up becoming a huge success, making a mark on the music industry.

“What I was led to believe was that I didn’t have a good idea,” he said. “This was a bad idea. Even other artists, big artists, were telling me, ‘Stop. Don’t do that anymore. Nobody’s gonna like that on your next song. You can’t do that for two songs; you can’t have two songs with that same effect on. You got to do something different. Get off of that.’ I was like, ‘Nah, I like this a lot. I’m gonna keep doing this.’”

And the crazy thing is one of the first artists that used it was one of the people that told me to stop using it. That was the craziest thing in the world. I didn’t understand that, but I see why. You’re trying to get me out the way so that you can be the only one using it. That’s not happening. I know what’s going on. But that’s just the nature of the business.”

T-Pain has proven himself to be a very capable rapper and we hope he continues to be that way. We also hope he will now learn to not ignore Instagram messages, especially from celebrities.
