The Flash’s 2022 release got a new filming announcement video, according to which the scarlet speedster will be travelling at the speed of light while being crested with a new logo.

The movie will feature Ezra Miller as Barry Allen, the fastest man alive. With the addition of supporting cast members such as Sasha Calle as Supergirl & Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton will be playing different versions of Batman from different timelines.

Maribel Verdú and Ron Livingston will be taking the roles of Barry’s parents, namely Nora & Henry Allen. The movie’s plot will be heavily inspired by the Flashpoint arc from the comics, where Barry Allen goes back in time in order to prevent his mother’s murder and unleashes the repercussions of messing with space-time on his reality.

Ben Affleck will be playing The Batman as he’s played in older movies before. Now that fans are rallying for his return in the DCEU with a Batman movie of his own, how he chooses to tackle the role in The Flash will make all the more difference.
