R&B icon and diva Keyshia Cole has taken the decision to retire from her iconic career of making music. Keyshia took to social media to announce her retirement from the world of music, which has shocked her long time fans.

After taking to Twitter, Keyshia Cole, who is 39 years old at the time, announced that she’ll be retiring from the music business. In a career than span over 22 years since 1998, Keyshia now wants to focus on her personal life and take a break from creating R&B hits.

Keyshia revealed in a series of tweets that it’s her personal life and her children who made her want to retire. Taking good care of them and having her priority straight is perhaps the correct way to go. She also added some goofiness to this very saddening news for her fans in order to lighten the mood.
