Khamzat Chimaev Teases Possible UFC Return

Khamzat Chimaev hasn’t been having the best of times for the past few months. The UFC star shocked the MMA world when Chimaev announced he was done with UFC due to the lingering effects from COVID-19.

Dana White would disregard Chimaev’s retirement announcement, stating that he only got emotional from the consequences of his COVID-19 infection. To top it all off, he also fell out of the top 15 Welterweight rankings recently.

Now it seems Chimaev might have teased possibly making a return to the UFC. The UFC star took to Twitter and uploaded an image of himself during a face-off and tagged Neil Magny, no. 9 in the division’s rankings.

Magny last competed against Michael Chiesa at UFC Fight Island 8 earlier in the year.

We certainly wonder whether Chimaev really will make his return to UFC, as he is one of the top stars of the company and no one wants to see him end his career already.
