Canadian singer The Weeknd’s has been making headlines as his After Hours album continues to win accolades after being completely ignored by the Grammys.

The singer yet again received more RIAA certifications for the album. On the whole, After Hours was certified a two-time multi-platinum album along with its title track receiving a platinum plaque. The RIAA also certified “In Your Eyes” and “Save Your Tears” as platinum singles.

That wasn’t all for the album. Two standout tracks “Heartless” and “Blinding Lights” added to the success with the former receiving a double-platinum certification while the latter is inching toward diamond after receiving platinum certification seven times.

Not to forget “Blinding Lights” made history as the first single to spend a whole year in the Billboard Hot 100’s top 10.
