After the introduction of the idea three years ago, the All-Star Draft has become one of the most immersive events of the year. On Thursday night, Kevin Durant and LeBron James faced off against each other for the first time in the 2021 NBA All-Star Draft.

During the event, Durant put forth some of his opinions about his former teammate Kendrick Perkins. It was during the time when Durant had to make his sixth selection in the Draft.

He decided to go with Orlando Magic star Nikola Vucevic. In a statement, he says,

I’m going with Vucevic. Kendrick Perkins can’t say his name right, but I got it right

When Perkins caught a whiff of this statement, he had a response for Durant. He took to Twitter and wrote,

I know you be watching me.

Even though KD has picked his team, he will not participate in this year’s All-Star Weekend events considering he is still recovering from a hamstring injury.

The Celtics star Jayson Tatum will be replacing Durant.

What do you think about the beef between Durant and Perkins considering they were team mates before? Let us know in the comments below.
