The Golden Warriors are done going through their golden years. Over the last few seasons, their positions have plummeted down quite significantly. They currently seed 8th in the Western Conference rankings.

The Warriors also had one of the worst performances last season due to several issues, most significant of all being injuries. They recently lost to the Lakers, the team which essentially stole their glory and became the Best of the West.

Even though the team doesn’t stand close to what they were a few years ago, Stephen Curry still thinks that the NBA is out to get them. Since he made the comments after his team took one from The Lakers and LeBron James, it comes across as a proper dig.

Commenting on the loss, Curry said:

Even when we’re playing well, we won three in a row, teams still want to beat us and beat us bad. They still have a lot of memories from the last five, six years.

While it may seem like Curry is simply being salty, there is history between the Lakers and the Warriors. While LeBron went to battle in the finals for 8 years straight, the Lakers only got two wins out of them. Three of these losses came to the team from the Golden State Warriors themselves.

Currently though, LeBron probably doesn’t have much on his mind regarding this matter, since they just had a good win to themselves. His team is favored by the audience and is likely to win again. That’s as much as he could ask for.
