Chadwick Boseman’s Wife Accepts Golden Globe Award On His Behalf In Touching Speech

Chadwick Boseman posthumously won the award for Best Actor at this year’s Golden Globes. His wife Taylor Simone Ledward accepted the award on his behalf in a very touching speech.

Ledward accept the award for Boseman’s Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama. In her emotional speech, she mentioned every single person Boseman would have thanked for the award had he still been alive to accept it himself.

She then said that Boseman would thank God and his parent and then mentioned Boseman’s team for ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.’

Boseman’s wife ended it by saying the following:

 “We have to take all the moments to celebrate those we love, so thank you HFPA for this opportunity to do exactly that.”

Chadwick Boseman lost his life in August of last year, after a long battle with colon cancer. The actor was only 43-years-old.
