DaBaby has been around long enough to know that some people will use his name to gain attention for themselves. To his credit, he’s able to deal with things quite well and not pop off. Others might have handled this situation a bit differently.

The famous rapper was seen in a recent video listening to music in his car. Then he started filming a person walking up the street who was filming him. It was a classic case of “I’m filming you filming me.”

DaBaby said that he believed the man to be a cop, and then he drove by the man and a cop car while everyone continued filming away. You can hear his daughter in the backseat telling her Papa that “there’s a police car over there.”

It seems that the police were out to scout DaBaby while he was out in the city with his daughter. It’s unclear who else was with him in the vehicle.

A lot of fans were confused by this entire situation. It’s still not clear why this man was filming DaBaby, but there was a cop car around. This could have been a fan wanting to snag a video of DaBaby, or the fuzz collecting evidence. Either way, he didn’t seem too worried about it.
