Jonah Hill’s career in film has included several different looks. It seems the actor’s weight changes with each new part he takes on. He’s all about the artform, but he’s not about to be body shamed because of it.

The actor posted a screenshot from a Daily Mail article about him. The Superbad actor had a scathing response to an article that pointed out his fluctuating weight. He also revealed something very personal about his own life and insecurities in the process.

I don’t think I ever took my shirt off in a pool until I was in my mid 30s even in front of family and friends. Probably would have happened sooner if my childhood insecurities weren’t exacerbated by years of public mockery about my body by press and interviewers. So the idea that the media tries to play me by stalking me while surfing and printing photos like this and it can’t phase me anymore is dope. I’m 37 and finally love and accept myself. This isn’t a “good for me” post . And it’s definitely not a “feel bad for me post”. It’s for the the kids who don’t take their shirt off at the pool. Have fun. You’re wonderful and awesome and perfect. All my love.

Oh and Daily Mail, not even you can take that smile from my face 😉

Jonah Hill is a great example of how to live life at this point. He is also not going to let the paparazzo ruin his good time. Good on Jonah Hill for this one.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
