Meek Mill Issues Response As Vanessa Calls Him Out Over ‘Insensitive’ Kobe Bryant Lyrics

It was not the best evening that Meek Mill had anticipated, but then here we are. Over the past week, the rapper has been under constant fire not only because of his run in with Tekashi 6ix9ine, but also due to his highly disputable lyric about Kobe Bryant in a song reportedly with Lil Baby. The line in the highly viral clip goes,

Yeah, and if I ever lack I’m goin’ out with my choppa / It be another Kobe.

After several days, Vanessa Bryant issued a response stating the lyrics to be highly insensitive and disrespectful.

I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this. If you are a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact.

Both Meek and Vanessa became trending topics on various social media platforms. This caused the lyrics to come into the limelight once again. Various comments came back in response to Meek’s post in favor of Vanessa.

Meek then resurfaced to comment on the controversy.
