The LA Lakers lost to the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday night, and LeBron wasn’t happy about taking that L at all.

Following the Lakers’ loss to the Nets, James was a bit upset at the 109 to 98 score. Bucketing only 98 points against one of the NBA’s weakest defenses wasn’t good at all, but the Nets’ offense also excelled.

LeBron James spoke about the game and what didn’t work in the Lakers’ favor.

“Whoever’s number was called, we just gotta pick each other up, obviously,” LeBron said after the loss. “Already with missing AD and then our starting point guard in Dennis … big blow for us. Listen, they were missing a big piece of their team as well, and we just didn’t play to our capabilities tonight. Give them credit.”

The Lakers struggled without key members of their team. They have a long way to go this season, and they can’t win them all. Still, this loss was a pretty tough one to take. Now they must regroup which is always a part of the process.
