‘Squid Game’ took over the world back in 2021 as it broke records for Netflix in a way no show was able to up until that point. Therefore, it comes as no surprise a reality TV show based on the show has been released. Now, a former WWE and AEW name has confirmed they are a contestant in the show.
‘Squid Games: The Challenge’ is a 10-episode reality series featuring 456 real contestants playing the same children’s games for a cash prize of $4.56 million, produced by Netflix. It will feature all the games that were in the hit Netflix show, without the fatalities.
The show has dropped some episodes on Netflix already, and more are planned to drop soon. Leva Bates, who used to work in NXT and AEW, took to her Instagram and revealed that she is a contestant in the show.
”So I randomly disappeared in January/early February & traveled across the world, I was a part of the very first Squid Games: The Challenge on Netflix. I didn’t get slapped by Gong Yoo, I kinda feel cheated. 🤣”
The show will release four more episodes on Nov. 29 and the finale on Dec. 6. We will have to wait and see how Leva Bates performed in the show, as fans are certainly rooting for her.
