MJF is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in pro wrestling right now and as the AEW World Champion, he makes sure to carry himself like a star. It is a known fact that he has a role in ‘The Iron Claw,’ but now the actual significance of the role has been unveiled.

The Iron Claw is a movie about the rise and fall of the legendary Von Erich family, who made a huge impact on the sport of professional wrestling in the 1960s. The film will feature the likes of pro wrestling legend Ric Flair and MJF as well, the latter of whom will portray Lance Von Erich, who has a kayfabe relation to the Von Erich family.

The film has yet to release in theaters but there was a private screening earlier this month, which featured the cast of the film and others. While fans are undoubtedly excited for MJF’s role in the movie, they might be in for disappointment.

Move critic and wrestling fan Siddhant Adlahka, who attended the recent premiere of the film, took to Twitter and revealed that MJF is featured in just one shot in the entire film, where he just plays himself.

‘MJF is in exactly one shot in The Iron Claw and he basically plays himself.”

MJF recently unveiled a special contribution to the film as well. Regardless, it is certainly disappointing that MJF didn’t really get to do much in the movie. That said, he has future movie projects where he will have a better role, so fans can look forward to that.
