Joey Fatone recently opened up in an honest interview about undergoing cosmetic procedures and addressed the stigma around men discussing such procedures. The 46-year-old musician explained that he was not embarrassed to talk about the changes he made to his appearance and why he chose to do so.

Fatone revealed to People that he had hair plugs and underwent a procedure called AirSculpt to remove fat from his chin and stomach. He shared that he had used hair spray to fill in his hair, and the hair plugs provided a solution to eliminate the need for it.

As for AirSculpt, he explained that it helped remove unwanted fat from his stomach and back that dieting and weight loss couldn’t eliminate. He emphasized that he was not trying to drastically change who he is but rather making small adjustments for himself.

However, Fatone humorously mentioned that there might be one scenario in which he would consider a dramatic body transformation: “I mean, I may lose a little bit of weight, but I’m still going to be the same person I’ve been. I’m not going to get drastically cut. Unless someone calls me up for a Marvel movie!”

Regarding *NSYNC, Fatone addressed rumors of a reunion tour. He clarified that there was no tour in the works, but people kept asking him if he was getting in shape for one. He emphasized that his fitness journey was for personal reasons, as he recognized that he couldn’t bounce back or recover as easily as he did in his younger years. While he noted that the group used to do more when they were younger, he didn’t rule out the possibility of future *NSYNC endeavors.

“People keep asking me if I’m getting in shape for a tour, but no, there isn’t a tour,” Joey said. “We actually haven’t had that conversation yet. I’m getting in shape for myself, because at a certain age you can’t bounce back or recover like you used to be able to. Not to say that we used to be about sex, drugs and rock and roll, but we were able to do a lot more things because we were younger.”

Joey Fatone previously shared what it would take for the group to tour again and discussed feeling “blindsided” by Justin Timberlake, shedding light on the dynamics within the band.
