Zachery Ty Bryan Claims Ex Orchestrated Domestic Violence Arrest While Handcuffed

Zachery Ty Bryan, known for his role on “Home Improvement,” has vehemently denied harming the mother of his three children, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, during an incident that led to his arrest.

In a video obtained by RadarOnline.com from inside a police vehicle, Bryan can be heard passionately defending himself and sharing his side of the story.

Bryan claimed that Cartwright and her father conspired to have him arrested, calling them “pathological liars.” He accused Cartwright of trying to frame him, saying, “She’s like, ‘I’m going to f— get you arrested, and you’re done.'” He insisted that he would never hurt her.

In the video, Bryan also requested that the arresting officer go through his phone, claiming that Cartwright had sent him threatening messages. He repeatedly referred to her as a “psychopath” and pleaded with the officer to arrest her instead, calling her a liar.

Despite the name-calling and accusations, Bryan showed some support for Cartwright when officers asked about the scratches on his body, stating that he wouldn’t incriminate her and emphasizing that she is the mother of his children.

Bryan went on to express his frustration with women in general, claiming, “These girls are the problems. They literally suck you in and f— you dry, Dude.”

Towards the end of the video, he tried to appease the officer, telling him to “let’s just get through this process” and offering words of encouragement, saying, “You’ve been great, dude. Don’t get insecure. You’re good. Yeah, you’re good. You’re doing great every day. You’re doing a great job.”

Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested in July following a domestic violence incident, during which both he and Cartwright sustained injuries. He recently pleaded guilty to felony assault in the fourth degree constituting domestic violence. He received probation, jail time already served, and conditions including no contact with the victim without probation officer approval, alcohol and drug restrictions, and mandatory treatment for alcohol and substance abuse issues.
