Millie Bobby Brown Shines in Damsel Teaser Trailer for Netflix Movie

Netflix has dropped the highly-anticipated trailer for Millie Bobby Brown’s upcoming film, “Damsel,” and you can catch all the action right here!

In this film, Brown takes on the role of Princess Elodie, who initially appears to be destined for a life of royalty as she is courted by a prince. However, her fate takes a drastic turn when the royal family sends her into a cave inhabited by a dragon to settle an ancient debt. As depicted in the trailer, Elodie must battle extreme odds to survive and escape alive

The trailer offers glimpses of Elodie’s intense struggles within the dark cave as she evades the dragon, navigates through narrow passages, and attempts a perilous climb up a steep, spiky cliff – a scene that mirrors the film’s poster.

Throughout the trailer, viewers also get glimpses of Elodie’s life before being thrown into the cave and how the royal family orchestrated the entire situation. These scenes set the stage for the action-packed present, where Elodie is seen fleeing from blasts of fire and ultimately wielding a sword to confront her fearsome enemy. While we don’t get a full-frontal view of the dragon, we do catch a chilling glimpse of a creature emerging from the depths of the cave.

Directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (“28 Weeks Later”) and written by Dan Mazeau (“Wrath of the Titans”), “Damsel” boasts an impressive cast, including Millie Bobby Brown, Angela Bassett, Robin Wright, Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Brooke Carter, and Olli Ackermann.

The film is produced by Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum under their Roth Kirschenbaum Films production banner. Millie Bobby Brown serves as an executive producer alongside Dan Mazeau, Zack Roth, and Chris Castaldi. Orchid Productions Ltd. is also listed as one of the film’s production companies.

Millie Bobby Brown has a busy schedule ahead, including the fifth and final season of “Stranger Things,” set to premiere in 2024. She is also working on a third “Enola Holmes” film and is set to star in the graphic novel adaptation “The Electric State,” alongside Joe and Anthony Russo.

As for “Stranger Things,” Executive Producer Shawn Levy expressed his desire to see parts of the upcoming season on the big screen, highlighting the show’s cinematic quality and the filmmakers’ ambition. While there’s no confirmation of a theatrical release, fans can expect an epic conclusion to the beloved series.
