The UFC is currently in the midst of a major overhaul of sorts after their merger with WWE under the TKO Holdings umbrella has helped the company secure a deal with Saudi Arabia. With UFC 300 just set to take place next year, Dana White has ruled out two big names for the event – Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar.

Brock Lesnar has not been seen in the Octagon following his win over Mark Hunt back in 2016, which was eventually overturned when Lesnar tested positive for a banned substance during a post-fight screening.

Ronda Rousey also hasn’t been seen in the Octagon following her loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 back in December 2016. While speaking with Sports Illustrated, UFC President Dana White ruled out the possibility of Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar appearing at UFC 300 in Las Vegas.

“I get why everybody asks,” said White. “I love that everybody loves them like that, and with so much passion. I do, too. But they’re definitely not coming back for UFC 300. I’m focused on Madison Square Garden. But no, they’re not coming back.”

Ronda Rousey is set to compete at an indie pro wrestling event this month, while Brock Lesnar will likely remain absent from WWE television till next year. Regardless, it remains to be seen how UFC 300 will turn out next year.
