Michael Strahan to Extend Absence from Good Morning America Due to ‘Personal Family Matters’

Michael Strahan has been a mainstay on ABC’s Good Morning America since 2016. He has been actively involved in the show every week until recently. It’s been two weeks since the former NFL star has appeared on Good Morning America and it looks like he is set to miss another week.

ABC informed PageSix that Strahan will miss another week of Good Morning America as he is dealing with some personality matters. A spokesperson for ABC said this in a statement:

“Michael Strahan will not be with us this week as he is dealing with some personal family matters. We appreciate everyone’s thoughts and concerns.”

Apart from his full-time job on Good Morning America, Strahan has also featured on Fox NFL Sunday. However, in the wake of his personal problems, Strahan has also not appeared on this show either.

The former Giants star has also been absent on social media and hasn’t posted anything since October 25th. ABC anchor Linsey Davis has been filling for Strahan during his absence.
