Tragic news has surfaced as former child star Evan Ellingson, once on the path to major fame, has passed away.

TMZ has reported that Evan was found deceased at his home in San Bernardino County, and the exact circumstances of his death remain unclear. However, officials have indicated that there is no sign of foul play at this time.

Evan’s father, Michael, provided some additional information, stating that Evan was found at a sober-living home. While Evan had faced struggles with drugs in the past, he had been making progress recently. His sudden passing has come as a devastating shock to his family.

Evan Ellingson is most notably remembered for his role opposite Cameron Diaz as her teenage son in the 2009 film “My Sister’s Keeper.” He also had a recurring role as Kyle Harmon in ‘CSI: Miami,’ appearing in a total of 18 episodes over three years.

His journey in showbiz began at the age of 13 with a small role in a TV movie and a guest appearance on ‘General Hospital.’ Evan’s acting career included appearances in shows like ‘Titus,’ ‘That Was Then,’ ‘Mad TV,’ ‘Complete Savages,’ ‘Bones,’ ’24,’ among others. He also had roles in several films, including ‘Walk the Talk,’ ‘Letters from Iwo Jima,’ ‘The Bondage,’ ‘Confession,’ ‘Rules of the Game,’ ‘Time Changer,’ ‘The Gristle,’ and more.

Although Evan appeared to have stepped away from Hollywood, having no acting credits post-2010, he left his mark on the world of TV and film. His passing at the young age of 35 is a heartbreaking loss.
