It has been a long time since Joe Exotic became a viral sensation and well-known name after Netflix’s “Tiger King” blew up during the pandemic. The Tiger King star is still behind bars, and that won’t be changing anytime soon. It seems he was also blasted by the Libertarian Party for his 2024 Presidential Run.
As previously reported, Joe Exotic considers the hit Netflix series about his life to be the worst thing that has happened to him. This is despite the fact that he has forgiven Carole Baskin. The reason is that it led the public to believe he attempted to murder Carole Baskin.
In addition to that, Joe Exotic intends to run for president next year. While speaking to TMZ, Angela McArdle, chair and spokesperson for the Libertarian Party made it clear that Party is against Joe Exotic trying to run for President. She even called him a D-list celebrity.

She stated the “Tiger King” star has not displayed anything that indicates he has a full grasp on the ideas of the party. She also called out his 2018 gubernatorial run as a Libertarian in Oklahoma — saying that attempt was “just tigers and glitter.”
She added that she’s very sympathetic to people “being mistreated in prison,” but noted that doesn’t mean it’s right to support someone who has made “poor choices.”
Angela added that anyone can run for office as a Libertarian and the Party can’t do anything to actually block it. Therefore, she urged people to send libertarian literature to Joe while he’s in jail.
If he’s going to be spouting about libertarianism, he might as well get educated about it.
That being said, Joe Exotic still has 20 years of his sentence left to deal with. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how Exotic will even manage his own Presidential campaign next year.
