Drew Barrymore Set To Host The 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards

Drew Barrymore is no doubt one of the most well-known actresses in Hollywood, even if she has no intention of ever returning to acting. However, the veteran actress is all set to host the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards.

According to Just Jared, the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards will be hosted live from the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles on Monday. With that being said, Drew has been signed as the host of the event. She has been nominated nine times by MTV and has been awarded three Golden Popcorns. Monde Twala, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Paramount Africa announced the news in a statement.

Drew gained fame when she was six years old and was assigned the role of Gertie in the movie E.T. (1982). She has received Screen Actors Guild along with Golden Globe awards. Drew was nominated for Best Talk/Topical Show at the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted.
