Tiger Woods is definitely one of the most recognizable faces in golf. His accolades speak for themselves in many ways. However, the legend is currently in some hot water as he is currently going through a tough court battle with his ex-girlfriend, Erica Herman.

According to TMZ, Erica recently filed a $30 million lawsuit against the golfer for allegedly attempting to evict her from their home. However, Woods has now fired back and refuted her claims that he had an oral agreement to let her reside in his home.

Tiger’s attorneys are disputing Erica Herman’s claims in her lawsuit that Tiger had agreed to support her and let her reside in his home for at least another five years in exchange for services prior to their breakup a few months ago. Tiger’s lawyers stated in legal documents that Erica Herman was invited to live with him as a guest in a residence that is partially owned by a trust.

“During their relationship, Mr. Woods invited Ms. Herman to live with him as his guest in the Residence. Mr. Woods never negotiated an oral tenancy agreement with Ms. Herman.

Nor was there ever a written tenancy agreement between Mr. Woods or the Trust, on the one hand, and Ms. Herman, on the other hand. Mr. Woods never transferred to Ms. Herman any ownership interest in or rights of possession to the Residence.”

Herman stated in her lawsuit that Tiger’s representatives had driven her to the airport after persuading her to pack her bags for a “short vacation” without Tiger a few months back. Herman claims she was informed she was thrown out of the house after the locks were changed upon their arrival at the airport.

According to Tiger’s attorneys, Erica was not left out in the cold. Rather the golfing legend provided her with enough money to get a new home and put her up in a luxurious resort. However, as the court battle between Tiger Woods and Erica Herman continues, it remains to be seen how this dispute will be resolved. Until then, keep an eye on Thirsty For News to get the latest updates regarding the ongoing story.
