Drake has recently taken to Instagram to joke about his role as a father figure to other rappers.

In a selfie posted on the social media platform yesterday, Drake is seen cuddled up with his dog Diamond, an Akita. In the corresponding caption, Drake reminded his fellow rappers that Father’s Day is fast approaching.

“A lot of them boys you entertain wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for me, so don’t forget to wish me a happy Father’s Day June 18th,” Drake said.

While Drake’s comment may be taken as a playful jab at his fellow rappers, he is a real-life father to 5-year-old Adonis Graham. Despite keeping his private life out of the public eye, Drake has occasionally shared glimpses of his son with his fans on social media.
