Jake Paul is one of the biggest names in professional boxing right now. He recently lost his match against Tommy Fury and then made headlines after Floyd Mayweather confronted him in Miami recently. It seems Dana White believes that the whole incident was a skit.
Floyd Mayweather and Jake Paul came face-to-face in Miami after the Heat game Wednesday night. Mayweather was the one who confronted The Problem Child. The incident happened after the Heat-Cavs game in south Florida, where Mayweather made his way to Paul. Paul was only accompanied by one security guard at the time.
In the end, Jake Paul ran away from the legendary professional boxer. Mayweather did not merely stumble upon Jake Paul while leaving the basketball game; he intentionally sought him out due to comments that Paul had made in the past.
Mayweather was reportedly outraged by Paul’s comments, which he felt were disrespectful and inappropriate, particularly given the context of Mayweather’s deceased relative.
While speaking with TMZ Sports, UFC President Dana White addressed the whole confrontation. White made it clear that he believes the whole thing was nothing but a skit.
“Is that real? I just can’t see Floyd doing that. I can’t see Floyd rolling up on somebody and doing that. It’s not Floyd’s style. It’s not really his personality. I thought it was a skit.
I’m not buying it. When was the last time you saw Floyd Mayweather act like a thug and roll up on somebody with 50 people? That’s just not what Floyd does. Yeah, I’m not buying it.”
Jake Paul Would then challenge Floyd Mayweather to a boxing match after the confrontation. However, we will have to wait and see whether the two will end up duking it out in the future.
