Tommy Fury Agrees To Rematch With Jake Paul

Jake Paul and Tommy Fury’s rivalry is well documented at this point in time, as their fight was a very long time coming. Fans had almost given up hope that the two would clash one day. Thankfully, they did end up squaring off against each other, with Fury coming out on top. Now it seems Fury has already agreed to a rematch with Paul.

Fury (9-0) defeated Paul (6-1) by split decision Sunday in Saudi Arabia and handed The Problem Child his first-ever blemish on his professional record. The event took place at Diriyah Arena in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia and was truly memorable.

Fury was in firm control until a knockdown by Paul in Round 8 brought the scorecards to a more even landscape. However, despite that, Fury was the victor fans rejoiced in a big way.

Paul stated that he spoke to Fury in the medical room and that they agreed to a rematch for their next fights. When Fury was asked about running things back, he was ready for it, as Fury stated during the post-fight news conference.

“Take nothing away from Jake Paul – he’s a good, game lad,” Fury said at the post-fight news conference. “I’m pretty sure if we get it on again in the future, I’ll be able to stop him. I feel like in the fight, if I would have pressed him a little bit more, I could have got him out of there. But at the end of the day, what more can you ask for?

One hundred percent. At the end of the day, this was my first main event. The world was watching this fight. I have that experience behind me now. So when I go into another big dance like this, I’ll have this behind me and I’ll know how to cope with it. Having been in the ring with Jake once, I’m pretty sure I can get the stoppage next time.”

Tommy Fury also celebrated in a huge way after winning the boxing match. Only time will tell when the two will square off against each other. Perhaps next time, it will be Paul who comes out on top.
